The Claddagh Ring is the most famous of Irish ring designs. It originated in an old fishing village in Galway. The hands signify friendships, the heart love, and the crown loyalty. The theme suggests “Let Love and Friendship Reign”. To this day the Claddagh ring is still used as a wedding ring of parts of Ireland.
