✝️ Love, and Ever More Love
What does it mean to live a life centered on love?
Adam Smith wrote about the importance of feeling deeply for others. Dorothy Day put it even more simply: “Love and ever more love is the only solution to every problem that comes up.”
And at the heart of Christianity is the same invitation—to love God, to love our neighbor, and to learn to see another person not as a problem to be solved, but as someone to be cared for.
This has a particular resonance in Ireland, where Christianity became woven into the life of communities through prayer, hospitality, learning, and service. Faith was not meant simply to be believed. It was meant to be lived.
Perhaps that is the great work of a lifetime: becoming a little less concerned with ourselves and a little more capable of love.
