Carrick Mór is our loving homage to Ireland and her enduring tradition of story, faith, and craft.

Our name, Carrick Mór — meaning “Big Rock” in Irish — was inspired by the great glacial boulder at the heart of Glen Rock, our hometown. Resting at the center of town for thousands of years, it has long been a place of gathering and remembrance. For us, it reflects steadiness, belonging, and the quiet strength of faith and tradition.

We opened in 2015 with a simple hope: to create a place where people could gather around a shared love of Ireland. We wanted more than a gift shop. We wanted a home for Irish culture—a place where beautiful craftsmanship, timeless stories, and enduring traditions could be discovered, celebrated, and passed on.

From the very beginning, we have sought out what we believe to be the finest Irish-made gifts, each one chosen with care and offered as a small reflection of the land we cherish. Yet Carrick Mór has never been only about the gifts we sell.
