Mucros Weavers
Handwoven Irish Tweed from the Heart of Killarney
Woven on century-old looms at Muckross House, each Mucros Weavers piece carries the colours and character of Killarney's lakes and hills.

ABOUT MUCROS WEAVERS
Woven at the Edge of Killarney's Lakes
Mucros Weavers is based at Muckross House in Killarney National Park, County Kerry — the focal point for visitors to one of Ireland's most beloved landscapes. For generations, the workshop has run traditional Hattersley looms to weave tweed drawn from the lakes, woodlands, and mountains that surround it.
Every scarf, bag, and hat is cut and finished by hand from wool and mohair blends in rich, heathered colourways. Each individually woven piece carries a selvedge on both sides — the quiet mark of a garment made to last.
By choosing Mucros Weavers, you help sustain craft traditions and skilled Irish textile makers — supporting the Killarney community that keeps these looms turning.
